 Enjoy the scenic views of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapahoe National Forest at the Grand Lake Nordic Center. We offer the beginner to advanced skier a variety of terrain on 35 km of classic and skate skiing trails. The terrain and trails are also excellent for snowshoeing, and we have a dedicated dog loop and kid's tubing hill! The GLMRD Nordic Center is a full-service, outdoor winter destination featuring our ski and snowshoe rentals, lessons, and retail shop.
ALL NEW Ski Equipment now available! Come visit our ski shop where we offer rentals, lessons and several retail items for you to choose from. Relax in front of a roaring fire and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or a light fare of delights at the new clubhouse!
UPDATES for the '09-'10 Season:
We have two new non-motorized bridges that expand the available ski terrain; one that crosses the Colorado River and one that crosses the Red Top Valley Ditch. We are working on re-establishing trails on the other side of the bridges so that they are in place for the winter season. We have also improved a number of our other ski trails which will allow for great grooming this year.

We have improved our sledding hill, and it will be groomed this year. We are in the process of rebuilding and remodeling the club house for skiiers to enjoy this winter. And, the rental shop features all new ski equipment for the season!
