Enjoy the scenic view of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapahoe National Forest at the Grand Lake Nordic Center. We can offer the beginner to advanced skier a variety of terrain on 35 km of tracked and skating trails. Snowshoe trails and equipment are also available in our ski shop, we offer rentals, lessons and several retail items for you to choose from. Relax in front of a roaring fire and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or a light fare of delights.

The Nordic Center is closed for the 2008-2009 season. We would like to say a special "Thank You" to everyone who supported and enjoyed the touring center this season, and an extra kudos to everyone who participated in the season's Nordic events. Because of you, the Nordic Center had a very successful ski season. We hope to see you again next winter!

The '08-'09 season included the purchase of new grooming equipment, the addition of one new ski trail and improvements to the existing ski trails. New snowshoe trails that are open to dogs were added and others were improved and lengthened. We also added a dog loop for skiers on which you can also snowshoe. New classic and skating rental equipment was stocked, and, we introduced a small tubing hill for kids!

Throughout the winter we offer a variety of special events hosted at the Nordic Center. Center rates, events and dates will be posted for the 2009 - 2010 season in mid to late summer, so check back with us again then!
